![]() I just merely saying HP Tuning and JB4 are very similar in terms of numbers in such that HP Tuning is producing only slightly better numbers. Realistically - DDN only has two supporting mods for his initial power of HP/TQ.Īgain - I do apologize if it came off like hate. It helps you retain power and performance by preventing heatsoak. The BMS HE does not increase performance individually. The only mods in his Q that helps with the performance with the JB4 is the Catless DP and Y Pipe. But he knew the price he would have to pay. I mean, Boost in Motion blew his turbos from continuously racing and abusing his car. You can blow your motor with HP Tuning or Tune from Tuner if you aren't careful or pushing it too. Pretty sure his motor blew because he pushed his vehicle and wasn't safe with it. Motor blowing happens if do JB4, HP Tuning or Tune from a Tuner. But if DDN said his motor blew, then yeah, I guess it did. You can't buy ECUTEK unless you're "worthy".Ĭlick to expand. No idea. The real benefit to HPTuners is being able to modify the tune yourself, if you want to. I'm at a lower altitude and my DA last night was 107 ft (using the airlab software) and his was higher. And I wouldn't trust Draggy's DA calculation. ![]() Sonics car doesn't appear to be tuned aggressively at all. The software is the tool to get the work done. I know this is a SC vs Turbo comparison because the wastegates and ecm will keep the boost the same but there's still more airflow.Īs a person who understands tuning. People whine and complain how the boost drops BUT the car makes more power. So he WILL make MORE HP at a lower boost level. Nothing against DDNs car at all (we are both tuners) but he has catless DPs, a Y pipe AND a heat exchanger. Isn't MaxLegends car blown up or something? MS109 to go the same MPH? ![]()
